The owner is a film buff and had grown out of a Sonos-and-soundbar setup in the living room. Brief: build a dedicated cinema that a professional colourist would sign off on.
Six weeks of acoustic treatment before a single speaker was installed. Modal ringing measured and treated below 80Hz with tuned bass traps.
Three front speakers behind an acoustically-transparent 4.2m Stewart screen. Four surrounds, two rear surrounds. Six overhead height channels. Four dual-opposed subs.

The "Movie" scene dims the sconces to 4%, drops the screen, powers up the projector, unmutes the processor and picks the last-used source. Pause the film — sconces fade back to 20%.
